The Foundational Products I Use to Support Energy in Midlife
Midlife has taught me something important: doing more isn’t the answer. Doing the right few things consistently is. So many women I talk to are dealing with low energy, digestive issues, brain fog, and that constant feeling of being “off.” It’s frustrating — especially when you’re already trying to eat well, move your body, and keep up with everything life throws at you.
Instead of chasing quick fixes, I’ve learned to focus on foundational support — the basics that help my body feel steadier, more nourished, and more resilient. These are the three products I come back to again and again because they support the things that matter most in midlife: energy, digestion, and stress.

1. Protein — the non-negotiable
Protein becomes especially important in midlife. It supports:
- steady energy
- muscle retention
- blood sugar balance
- feeling full and satisfied
I aim to get enough protein early in the day, and honestly — that’s not always easy with busy mornings. A protein shake makes it realistic. It’s quick, easy to digest, and something I can take on the go (yes, often in the car on the way to work). I don’t think of this as a “fitness thing.” I think of it as basic nourishment.

2. Greens — because digestion and nutrients matter
Digestion changes in midlife — full stop. And even with good intentions, most of us aren’t consistently getting all the nutrients we need from food alone. Adding greens to my morning routine helps:
- support digestion and gut health
- fill common nutrient gaps
- reduce that sluggish, heavy feeling that can linger all day
It’s not about detoxing or resetting. It’s about giving my body daily support it can actually use.

3. Fizz — clean energy that doesn’t wreck my nervous system
This one surprised me. I wanted more energy — but not the jittery, wired kind that leaves me crashing later. Fizz gives me:
- gentle, clean energy
- mental clarity
- support for stress and focus
It feels supportive instead of stimulating, which makes a big difference in perimenopause.

Bringing it together: my Midlife Morning Pack
I don’t think of these as “products.” I think of them as my midlife morning foundation — a simple routine that helps me feel more like myself before the day takes over. For many women, this is a great place to start before layering on more changes.
